The magic you’re craving often begins in the places it’s
hardest to look

You don’t have to face it alone.
At Apex Therapy, we use evidence-based care
and personalized support to help you create meaningful change.

I imagine life has taught you how to cope in your own way, and that you’ve gotten pretty good at it.
You’re not looking for therapy because you want to be rescued or told things you already know.

You’re looking for a space that welcomes your complexity.
A space that can hold your intelligence, your contradictions, and your patterns without asking you to over-explain.

At Apex, therapy is a conversation between equals.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to shrink to be accepted, or like your pain had to be palatable to deserve support - you’re not alone.
At Apex, we welcome all of you.
This space is designed to help you grow.

You’ve always known how to function, but that didn’t mean it was easy.

What to Expect in our First Conversation

The number one predictor of whether therapy will help you is the relationship and trust you have with your therapist.
At Apex, the first session is about connection. We take time to understand who you are.

Your therapist will begin by introducing themself and sharing a bit about how they work — their approach and what therapy at Apex often looks like.

You’ll have space to ask any questions you might have about the process, or, if something’s been sitting heavy, we'll start there.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve done it before, there’s no pressure to show up a certain way. These first few moments are about settling in and starting wherever you are.

Every person comes in with their own experience — some have worked with therapists before, some haven’t, and some are still figuring out what they need.

Your therapist will take the time to learn what’s felt helpful in the past and what hasn’t. What built trust or what left you feeling disconnected.

This part of the session helps your therapist understand what actually works for you — so therapy can be shaped around that from the very beginning.

We’re interested in the people and relationships that have shaped your world to better understand who you are.

Your therapist may ask who was around you growing up, what those relationships felt like, and how you see them now.

This part of the session is about honoring where you’ve come from, so we can gain a deeper sense of who you are and what you carry into the present.

There is no perfect moment
